Carlos is an experienced communicator with a passion for clean energy and sustainability; he has spoken at international conferences in over three dozen countries across five continents on these topics, often designated Conference Chair or as keynote speaker.
He acts as an advisor to Texas Sustainability, LLC, a consultancy that promotes usage of the Envision framework for sustainable infrastructure. He is also a board member of the Latin American and Caribbean Council on Renewable Energy (LAC-CORE) of Washington, D.C., a non-profit which promotes development of the industry across a wide region, as well as a board member of CleanTX, an Austin, Texas-based non-profit that promotes clean energy and sustainability issues across the state. He is additionally the publisher of the Clean Energy Review.
Carlos holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and an undergraduate degree in international economics from DePaul University in Chicago. He is a citizen of the United States and of Argentina.
